VV Steenbergen is an amateur football club from Steenbergen in the Dutch province of North Brabant.
The club was founded on March 18, 1933 as WVS (Wapen van Steenbergen). Seven years later, WVS merged with fellow townsman DIA to form “r.k.v.v. Steenbergen”.
As of the 2020/21 season, the standard team will play in the Saturday division of amateur football, making “Steenbergen” one of the many clubs that have made the switch from (standard) Sunday football to Saturday football. It started in the Fourth Division of the KNVB district South-I at the lowest level in this district.
The standard team in Sunday football last played in the Third Division of South-I in the 2019/20 season.
In 1976, the deciding match for promotion to the 3rd class was won against Alliance and in 1981, the deciding match for promotion to the 3rd class was won against VV Roosendaal. In 2007 and 2008, the quarter finals were reached in the District Cup of South I.
