Football association HSV, in full Heiloër Sport Association, is an amateur football club from the Dutch village of Heiloo (province of North Holland). The association was founded on June 1, 1930 and then started playing in the Diocesan Haarlemsche Voetbal Bond (DHVB). The home base of HSV is Sportpark Het Maalwater. The first men's team of the association will play in the Second Division Sunday (season 2020/2021).
The creation of HSV was preceded by the establishment of VVH on March 11, 1921. This club was dissolved on November 10, 1929, after which the remaining members were included in the then Alkmaar football club Alcmaria Victrix.
In the early years, HSV played in a simple white shirt, with black pants. Later, probably in 1932, the club colors are changed; It will be red pants and a blue shirt with a red collar and red cuffs. In 1937 then secretary Henk Pel is so enthusiastic about the outfit of Go Ahead from Deventer, at that time a top club from East Netherlands, that he prefers to see HSV also play in this outfit. His wish comes true and from the 1937/1938 season the HSV players play in red trousers, a red shirt with a yellow stripe in the longitudinal direction and yellow cuffs and red-yellow ringed stockings. decades later, the association from Heiloo still plays in these colors.
After the club became champion of the 3rd division in the 2016/2017 season, they immediately competed for the championship again the following season. On the last day of play, a mutual duel with Zaanlandia would determine who became champion. HSV had to win with two goals difference. When Zaanlandia's equalizer put an end to the championship dream of the Heiloo team a few minutes before the end, they switched to plan B; lose well to be allowed to participate in the playoffs at the expense of Kolping Boys. However, this situation, created by the rules of the KNVB, was judged to be 'deliberately underperforming' and led to exclusion from the playoffs. As a result, HSV was sentenced to a points deduction and the club finished 5th.
The HSV again finished the 2018/2019 season in 5th place in the second division. Due to the Foresters' decision to play football on Saturdays from the 2019/2020 season, this was the last season in which the Heilooër derby was played for the time being.
