In 1936 this team became champion in the First division of the RKF and in 1939 national champion. Here it became champion in the Second Division in 1958 and 1961, followed in 1961 with promotion to the First Division, then still the highest amateur level. It stayed here for three seasons. In the second season in the second period in the First Division, now the second tier, it won the championship and again promoted to the highest amateur level in the Dutch big league. The club was relegated after two seasons. The following season also immediately followed relegation from the First Division. From the 1987/88 season, the club played in the Second Division, with the exception of the 1995/96-1996/97, 1999/00, 2008/09-2009/10 seasons when Spartaan '20 played in the Third Division. In 2017, the third promotion to the First Division followed, now the fourth amateur level.
