After relegation to the Kitchen Champion Division, Sparta must prepare for a return to the Eredivisie. The match turned and ended 1-2, which was a difficult starting position with the away match ahead. On a swirling Vijverberg, Sparta showed a lot of courage and showed that they still believed in a good outcome. In the 74th minute it was finally scored. Dervisoglu made it 0-1 and an exciting final phase followed. Seven minutes before the end it was Adil Auassar, who scored with a header, just like at Het Kasteel: 0-2. Sparta held on to the 0-2 lead and thus secured a place in the Eredivisie.
