Renze Fij(born 26 September 1992 in Enschede) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
After being scouted at Vv Victoria'28, Fij ended up in the youth team of FC Twente. On November 30, 2009, when Fij is still officially part of the A1 of the FC Twente Football Academy, he makes his debut for the Go Ahead Eagles, who have also been part of the academy since that year. He has been officially hired from the football academy since November 27. Fij replaced Remko Pasveer who was injured in the match against Helmond Sport. The game was won 3-2. The next match, however, Pasveer had recovered sufficiently from his injury and reserve goalkeeper Jasper Heusinkveld was also available again, meaning Fij returned to the football academy. In the summer of 2010 he switched to the A1 of FC Groningen. In 2012 he signed a contract with Heracles Almelo. He made his debut for this club on February 4, 2017 against Willem II (1-3). Fij replaced Bram Castro after a red card. In the 2017/2018 season he was scheduled to play on loan for FC Dordrecht, but returned in January. At the end of July 2018, Fij went to Norway to play for Florø SK in the OBOS ligaen. In March 2019, he signed a contract with series rival Nest-Sotra until June. In 2020 he will play for Sogndal.
