This unique and beautiful SC Heerenveen home shirt was worn by top player Victor Elm. This kit was worn in the match of December 16, 2009, at home against FK Ventspils. Elm played in the starting eleven this match and even managed to score twice.
Viktor Elm(born 13 November 1985 in Johansfors) is a former Swedish footballer who played most of his career for Kalmar FF. In the Netherlands he played for sc Heerenveen and AZ. In 2008 he made his debut for the Swedish national football team.
Viktor Elm had two brothers who were also professional football players, David and Rasmus.
Elm signed a contract with sc Heerenveen in July 2008. The Frisians had been following Elm for a while at that time. Initially, Heerenveen wanted to take over Elm from Kalmar in the summer, but in the battle for the Swedish championship, Kalmar did not want to lose another player after Cesar Santin left for FC Copenhagen. After several attempts, Heerenveen decided to sign Elm as of January 2009. The advantage for Heerenveen is that they now do not have to pay a transfer fee. Elm signs a contract until 2012 in Haagje, Friesland.
In November 2008, Elm decided to come to Heerenveen a month early to get used to his new environment. The tall Swede will make his official debut for Heerenveen on Friday, January 16, in the 3-1 win against Feyenoord. Elm plays for the full ninety minutes. A few days later, Elm scores his first goal for Heerenveen. Once again Feyenoord is the opponent. In the match, won 0–3, Elm scored two goals.
