Original Klupp football shirt NAC Breda 2010/11

The 2008-2009 season of NAC Breda was the 52nd season of the Dutch football club in professional football. The club played in the Eredivisie, just like the previous season, when it finished in third place.

After a good start to the season, with NAC Breda leading after six rounds, the performances became increasingly unstable. After the winter break, the club reached the semi-final of the battle for the KNVB cup, at the expense of AZ Alkmaar. But the game with FC Twente was lost.

NAC Breda eventually ended the season in eighth place and was therefore allowed to participate in the play-offs to compete to obtain a European starting license via this route. That was achieved by winning against Feyenoord and FC Groningen.
