Lyngby Boldklub is a Danish football club from Kongens Lyngby in the municipality of Lyngby-Taarbæk. It comes out in professional football, The club plays its home games at Lyngby Stadium. Between 1994 and 2001, the club's professional division was known as Lyngby FC.
In December 2001, the club went bankrupt and as a result was relegated to the Danish series (fourth division), just below the professional divisions in Danish football. In 2003 the club was promoted to the 2. Division and on June 18, 2005 promotion to the 1. Division was enforced. In the 2006/07 season, Lyngby became champion of the second division and again promoted to the Superliga. In the 2011/2012 season, the club was relegated to the second division. In 2016, the blue and white returned to the highest level.
In the period 2013–2016, the stadium was partially renovated. A completely new main stand was built on the west side with 3,000 seats, and a standing stand was built on the south side. Due to the new construction, most of the cinder track around the main field has disappeared.
