Description
In 1985, the Gazelle-Vredestein cycling team was founded in Doetinchem with, among others, Erik Breukink. In 1993, the Vredestein team had its first major sporting success: Leontien van Moorsel became world road champion in Oslo. Other successes followed later with Cadel Evans and Robby McEwen, among others.
