Rugby Club Hilversum is a rugby club that was founded in 1954 by a number of members of the Naardense Rugby Club 't Gooi who decided to start their own club. The first official match was played on November 7, 1954 against A.A.C.

RC Hilversum has three men's teams, two women's teams (both partnerships with other associations) and youth teams in all age categories. The first men's team has been playing in the Ereklasse, the highest competition in Dutch rugby, for many years. The ladies also play at the highest level.
