Description
AZ played in the highest league of professional football, the Eredivisie, in the 2007-2008 season. In the KNVB cup tournament, AZ was eliminated in the second round by Cambuur Leeuwarden. The participation in the UEFA Cup ended for AZ after the group stage. Ultimately, AZ became eleventh in the Eredivisie.
