Original Umbro vintage football shirt AFC Ajax 1994/95

In the 1994/95 season, Ajax played in the PTT Telecompetition, KNVB Cup and the UEFA Champions League. The team was also led by coach Louis van Gaal this season. Ajax played at home in the De Meer stadium and moved to the Olympic Stadium when large numbers of visitors were expected.

Thanks to the victory in the Eredivisie and Champions League, Ajax could compete for two Super Cups and the World Cup. Ajax would win the Dutch Super Cup again in August 1995 in a match against Feyenoord. In February 1996, Ajax won the 1995 UEFA Super Cup against Spanish European Cup II winners Real Zaragoza. At the end of November 1995, Ajax won the 1995 Football World Cup after a spectacular penalty shootout against the Brazilian Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense.
