Original Copa football shirt RKVV JEKA

RKVV JEKA is a football club on the Beukenlaan in Breda. The name is an abbreviation for Youthful Enthusiasm Kan Everything. In terms of membership it is the largest association in Breda. The club will play in the Second Division on Sunday (2019/20).

The club was promoted from the Third Division to the Second Division in the 2008/09 season. A season later, promotion to the First Division followed. All this was achieved with a team largely coming from their own youth academy.

In 2008, JEKA's third team played a friendly friendly match against the Tibetan national football team, drawing 1-1. The Tibetan team was in the Netherlands for a training internship and to draw attention to the situation in Tibet. This meeting was organized by Rob Hogendoorn and MVV '27 head coach Rene van der Kooij of the Dutch organization Sports Without Frontiers Foundation.
