N.E.C. will play in the Kitchen Champion Division for the fourth consecutive season in the 2020/21 season, where it finished seventh and thus qualified for the play-offs for promotion/relegation. She qualified for the final against NAC Breda, which they won 1-2 and thus promoted to the Eredivisie. The team also plays in the KNVB Cup, where it was eliminated in the quarter-finals by VVV-Venlo.
