Trabzonspor is a Turkish football club from the city of Trabzon, founded in 1967 from several smaller local clubs.

Trabzon is located in the Black Sea region.
Trabzonspor is considered one of the four major clubs in Turkey, and it was for a long time the only club from outside Istanbul to win the Turkish league. Trabzonspor is the only Turkish football club to have won both the female and male competition. The club colors are burgundy and blue. Trabzonspor played its home games at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium. Trabzonspor has moved into the new stadium, the Medical Park Arena, as of January 29, 2017 with a 4-0 win against Gaziantepspor. Trabzonspor has a satellite club called 1461 Trabzon.
