The Wales national football team is a team of footballers that represent Wales in international matches and competitions.

In 1958, the country reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup, losing 1–0 to the later world champions Brazil. This was the only time Wales competed in the finals of a major international tournament until they secured their qualification to Euro 2016 on 10 October 2015. The tournament saw Wales reach the semi-finals.
