Dijon Football Côte d'Or is a French football club from Dijon, the capital of the Côte-d'Or department. The club plays its home games at the Stade Gaston Gérard, which has a capacity of 16,000 spectators.

Cercle Laïque Dijonnais was founded in 1936, the club carried this name until 1991 and then became Cercle Football Dijonnais. In 1998 the club merged with Dijon FC.

It was only in the 2004/05 season that the second division (Ligue 2) was reached for the first time, where the club finished fourth in its debut year, in the 2005/06 season the club finished fifth and in the 2006/07 season eighth. The 2007/08 season ended with 17th place, one place higher than the three relegators. After two places in the middle bracket, the club was joint third with Le Mans UC in 2011, under the leadership of trainer-coach Patrice Carteron, but due to a better goal difference, Dijon was promoted to the Ligue 1 for the first time in its existence. Dijon was immediately relegated. In the following years, the club was a sub-topper in Ligue 2. In 2015, the club finished fourth, three points behind PhD student Angers SCO. In 2016 they became vice champion behind AS Nancy and could thus again force promotion.
