The 2020 European Men's Football Championship, of which UEFA Euro 2020 was the final tournament, was the 16th edition of the quadrennial football tournament. It was initially scheduled to be held from June 12 to July 12, 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was postponed to June 11 to July 11, 2021.

The tournament was played in eleven stadiums and as many countries, just as was planned in 2020. Never before have so many countries hosted. The opening match was in Rome, the final in London. The tournament was won by Italy.
