FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin Lichterfelde-Tempelhof (also called Viktoria 89 Berlin) is a German sports association from Berlin. The club was formed on July 1, 2013 through a merger between Berliner FC Viktoria 1889 and LFC Berlin.
Already in 2002 there were plans to merge, but this did not work then. In March 2013, another attempt was made. The aim of the merger is to become the third club in the city after Hertha BSC and 1. FC Union Berlin. At the end of May, both clubs approved the merger, which became official on July 1. After a respectable eighth place in 2014, the club finished last in 2015, but was saved from relegation by the bankruptcy of VFC Plauen and the withdrawal of the second team from 1. FC Union Berlin. After a place in the middle bracket, the club finished fourth in 2017. Due to financial problems, the club received nine penalty points at the end of 2018, but stayed out of the danger zone.
After finishing eighth in 2020, the club got off to an excellent start in 2020/21 by winning 11 consecutive matches. After this, the competition was stopped due to the corona crisis in Germany. The competition was not resumed and it was decided to promote the club to the 3. Liga.
