Åsane Fotball, or Åsane for short, is a Norwegian football club from Åsane, the northernmost part of Bergen. The club was founded on November 4, 1971. The club colors are orange-black.
Throughout its history, Åsane has been overshadowed by big brother SK Brann. The standard team acted most of history in amateur football, but would slowly but surely rise towards professional football.
In 1993 they would compete for the first time in the 1. divisjon, the second level. It stayed there for four seasons before relegation followed. Åsane was able to compete for one season at this level in 2002, but it took until 2014 before being promoted to the 1st division again. In 2018, the team were relegated after losing the promotional relegation matches against KFUM Oslo, but a year later the club returned to the second tier by winning the play-offs against Notodden FK.
From 2018, a multifunctional sports facility was built for the home matches of Åsane, next to the existing Vestlandshallen. The sports complex has grown into the largest in the city of Bergen. In the 2021 season, the orange-blacks used the Åsane Arena for the first time.
