VFR Heilbronn, known for its eight seasons in the 2nd division (1956/57, 1962/63, 1969/70 to 1974/75), merged with the Heilbronner Spielvereinigung to form FC Heilbronn after bankruptcy in 2003.

FC Heilbronn and FV Union Böckingen 08 merge.

This means that not only three of Heilbronn's biggest clubs, but also some of the most successful and oldest clubs in Württemberg were under one roof. If the club or the original clubs each consisted of several divisions, only football remains to this day.

FC Union Heilbronn will become the official youth development center from kick-off.

The association's membership currently has more than 500 members, almost half of whom are children and young people, and the trend is increasing.
Due to the collaboration with Anpfiff ins Leben eV, we expect a strong increase in the number of young members in the coming years.
