Original retro vintage football shirt FC Twente / Heracles Academie

The FC Twente/Heracles Academy (formerly FC Twente Football Academy and previously FC Twente/Heracles Almelo Football Academy) is the Regional Youth Academy of the football clubs FC Twente and Heracles Almelo. From the 2020/21 season, the clubs will work together on an equal basis. Before that, the costs were largely borne by FC Twente.

The football academy was created from the youth academies that both clubs had until 2002. From 2009 to 2014, Go Ahead Eagles also housed its youth academy in the academy. The spearheads of the football academy are a stable home situation for the youth player, attention to school/study and, last but not least, football. The academy thinks according to the typical Dutch style of play, with an emphasis on attacking and dominant football. All teams play in a 1-4-3-3 variant. The academy works with around forty scouts.
