The 2018/19 season was the 54th year in the existence of the Enschede football club FC Twente. After relegation from the Eredivisie in the previous season 2017/18, the club's first team played in the First Division. She also took part in the KNVB Cup tournament. The junior team Jong FC Twente played in the Reserve Competition 2018/19 (football).

FC Twente became champions and was therefore promoted back to the Eredivisie within a year. In the cup tournament, Twente reached the quarter-finals, where it was eliminated by the later finalist Willem II.
