The Football Association (FA) is the English national football association, founded on 26 October 1863, making it the oldest national football association in the world. The association organizes, among other things, the FA Cup, the FA Community Shield, the FA Trophy and the FA Vase. All English professional clubs are members of the FA, but domestic competitions are organized by the Premier League and the Football League with the approval of the FA.

The FA is also responsible for national teams such as the England national football team, the England under-21 football team and the England women's team.

The football associations of Jersey, Guernsey and Man are affiliates of the FA.
