Masita

Masita is a Dutch sportswear brand that supplies sports shirts, sports pants, training and presentation suits, windbreakers, coach jackets, bags and various other necessities for team sport. The head office is in Echt. Masita was founded in 1933 by the Maas family from Sittard. Originally the company focused primarily on the trade in and processing of leather products. From the 60s Masita specialized in team sports clothing. Masita has mainly focused on markets in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. Masita also exports its products to Australia, Great Britain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Scandinavia, Hungary, Croatia and various countries in Africa.

At the end of December 2014, Masita was in financial trouble. After the acquisition in March 2015 by a new owner, ISBC Sport, sales of the Limburg sportswear brand are on the rise again.
